Managing personal data
Access, correct, export or delete data without needing to sign in to this page.
Last updated · 9 September 2026 · Version 3.0
This public page is the canonical account-deletion and data-management route for the Cevor app and website.
1. Data that may be associated with you
- Account and profile details, language, onboarding and discovery preferences.
- Favorites, collections and saved restaurants where used.
- Search and discovery interactions retained for functionality, personalization or aggregate improvement.
- Session, security, consent, communication and support records.
- Waitlist, contact, demo or pilot details you submitted.
- For Business users: professional details, restaurant memberships, authorization role, billing status and support/audit records where applicable.
2. Request access, correction or export
Write from the email associated with your account or submission and state what you need. Cevor may verify identity before disclosing or changing data. Where portability applies, data is provided in a structured, commonly used format.
3. Request account deletion
Send an email to the legal contact with the subject “Account deletion” and identify the Cevor account email. This page requires no login. If in-app deletion is available, you may use it instead. Cevor confirms the request and may ask for verification from the associated address.
4. What deletion covers
Once verified, Cevor removes or anonymises account profile data and account-linked preferences, favorites, collections and retained discovery history, subject to legal exceptions and technical backup cycles. Device-only browser storage must be cleared on the device.
5. What may be retained
Minimal records may remain where required for tax/accounting, fraud prevention, security, dispute handling, legal claims or proof that a request was completed. Deletion is not promised to be instantaneous across backups; restricted residual copies expire through normal backup rotation.
6. Business relationships
Deleting an individual account does not automatically delete a restaurant, end its subscription or erase content owned by that restaurant. Cevor first removes or transfers the person's authorized access as appropriate. Restaurant deletion and Business access are separate processes.
7. Timing
Cevor responds within one month of a verifiable GDPR request, subject to lawful extensions for complex requests. Operational removal begins after verification; any longer legal retention is explained in the response.
