Consents

Consent is one legal basis, not the basis for every part of Cevor.

Core account and requested service functions usually rely on contract; security and proportionate product improvement may rely on legitimate interests; legal records rely on legal obligation. Consent is used only where a real choice is required.

1. When consent may apply

Optional operating-system location permission.
Optional marketing communications.
Non-essential cookies or trackers if introduced and legally requiring prior consent.

2. What does not normally require consent

Creating and operating an account or saving requested favorites/collections under the user contract.
Security, abuse prevention and proportionate first-party analytics under legitimate interests.
Tax, accounting and lawful authority obligations.

3. Location permission

Location permission is optional. Refusing or withdrawing it leaves general discovery available, but nearby recommendations may be less relevant. Permission can be changed in device settings.

4. Contact and demo forms

Submitting a waitlist, contact, demo or pilot form allows Cevor to respond and send service-related confirmation. It does not automatically create indefinite consent for unrelated marketing. Optional marketing must be offered separately where consent is required.

5. Giving and withdrawing consent

Consent requires an affirmative choice and can be withdrawn without charge through the available device/app control or by contacting Cevor. Withdrawal is as straightforward as the available method used to give consent and does not invalidate earlier lawful processing.

6. Records

Where consent is relied on, Cevor may retain the choice, time, context and applicable notice version for as long as reasonably needed to demonstrate compliance.
