Restaurant authorization
A user account, Cevor authorization and restaurant association are separate steps.
Last updated · 9 September 2026 · Version 3.0
An email address or account alone does not prove ownership of a restaurant. Cevor associates Business access only after reviewing authority to represent the establishment.
1. User account
The individual first uses their own Cevor account. Account identity supports sign-in; it is not itself a restaurant ownership claim.
2. Authorization review
Cevor may ask for business contact details, role, restaurant-domain communication, publicly verifiable information or another proportionate proof. Cevor decides whether evidence is sufficient and may request clarification.
3. Restaurant association
After authorization, Cevor associates the person with the relevant restaurant and grants an appropriate role. Access is limited to that restaurant and the permissions of the role.
4. Team invitations
An authorized representative may invite colleagues where team access is available. Each colleague uses an individual account. Invitations do not transfer ownership and shared logins should not be used.
5. Changes and disputes
Role changes, departure of a staff member, ownership disputes or suspicious access must be reported promptly. Cevor may pause access while authority is reviewed and can reassign or remove access when justified.
6. No quality endorsement
Authorization confirms a relationship or mandate sufficiently for access; it is not a quality rating, legal-title certificate or guarantee about the restaurant.
