Restaurant content rights
The restaurant keeps ownership; Cevor receives only the licence needed for the service.
Last updated · 9 September 2026 · Version 3.0
This document covers restaurant-supplied identity and media: name, logo, cover, gallery, descriptions, links and featured dishes, plus secondary menu content where used.
1. Ownership
Ownership remains with the restaurant or original rights holder. Uploading does not transfer ownership to Cevor.
2. Licence
The restaurant grants Cevor a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide licence to host, copy, resize, format, display and distribute authorized content through Cevor and previews of the service for as long as needed to provide the relationship. This does not permit sale to unrelated third parties.
3. Authority and third-party rights
The restaurant confirms it may use logos, photographs, text and identifiable-person images it supplies. Photographer, agency, employee and trademark permissions remain the restaurant’s responsibility.
4. Featured dishes and derivatives
Formatting, crops, thumbnails and translated or assisted drafts do not change ownership of the underlying restaurant content. Assisted output must be reviewed and may be subject to third-party model terms where disclosed.
5. Moderation and takedown
Cevor can withhold or remove content reasonably believed unlawful, misleading, unsafe or infringing. Rights holders can report a specific item and basis; Cevor may seek evidence from both sides.
6. End of licence
After valid removal or relationship closure, the public licence ends when the content is removed from active service, except limited retention needed for backups, disputes, legal duties or proof of prior publication.
